Solstice Earns Two Communicator Awards

Dental and Vision Insurer Takes Home Top Award of Excellence

Dental and vision insurer Solstice Benefits, Inc., (Solstice) was named a Communicator Award winner for the fifth consecutive year, earning Distinction honors for A Decade Without Dental Insurance consumer health infographic and the highest achievement, the Award of Excellence, for its Lead Generation Campaign. These awards represent a consistent commitment to providing consumers with oral health communications that encourage positive health outcomes.

Solstice believes in the importance of communicating the critical roles dental health and oral hygiene play in overall health. Research shows more than half of adults over 30 have gum disease, making them 67 percent more likely to have heart disease.

Recognition for our work communicating the value of dental benefits and oral health is an honor. Many people are not aware that periodontal disease leads to, and can worsen, conditions like diabetes, dementia, low birth weight and kidney disease. We believe in educating consumers about that connection and improving people's lives through effective communication.

Carlos Ferrera, Solstice Chief Operating Officer
