Solstice Wins 6 Hermes Creative Awards

​​​​Dental insurer Solstice Benefits, Inc., (Solstice) was named a Hermes Creative Awards winner for the fifth time, earning Platinum honors for its member blog, Gold for its member newsletter and Honorable Mentions for its Facebook site, the placement of its press release on Oral Health and National African-American Women’s Fitness Month, an insurance broker email  communication (Back to Basics) and a social media video (Don’t Let Bad Breath Get in the Way), six in total. Solstice was selected from over 6,000 entries and was recognized alongside major brands including Hilton, Citi, Deloitte, Fender, Johns Hopkins, who also won Platinum in other categories.

Solstice prioritizes creating clear, educational and creative marketing materials that engages diverse consumers. With studies showing that only 12 percent of consumers understand their health information, and 65 percent wanting to know more about their dental benefits, Solstice creates and tailors its contents to meet these needs. Moreover, studies show that a greater understanding of oral health and dental benefits promotes higher participation and utilization of insurance benefits.

About the Hermes Creative Awards

Hermes Creative Awards honor creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media, and recognize outstanding work in the industry while promoting the philanthropic nature of marketing and communication professionals.

Winners are selected from 195 categories grouped under advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media and pro bono.

There were over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and numerous other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2018 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (www.amcpros.com). The international organization consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
